Man, you get it wrong about hard disc partitioning... XDDD ZFS is so great. It's a pitty that there is not native support for Linux, becasuse it solves all storage management headeaches. Add a disc and get its space added to the pool, ready to be assigned, is just magic :) Niiiice! (Plus redundancy to resist desperate admins fixing drives with hammers, of course).
